Beyond the White Coat: An Evening on Physician Mental Health
Physicians spend their lives caring for others. Far fewer conversations focus on how they are doing themselves, and on the partners who carry that weight alongside them.
Join Sydenham Clinic for an intimate evening with Lindsey Dwyer Tong, a concierge therapist whose practice focuses on physician mental health. Lindsey will lead a candid, accessible presentation on the pressures specific to medicine: burnout, moral fatigue, and the isolation that often comes with the role. She will also explain why mental health can't be separated from the rest of the body.
The evening will explore:
Why physicians often suffer quietly, and how to recognize it in a colleague or partner
The connections between gut health, genomics, lifestyle, and mental wellbeing
Practical, private ways to seek support without stigma
The evening is hosted by Aanchal Bhatia, Founder of Sydenham Clinic, and closes with an open conversation and time to connect.
Physicians are warmly encouraged to attend with a spouse or partner. You're also welcome to bring a colleague who might benefit, especially one who may not ask for help on their own.
This is a private, discreet setting. Space is limited.
