CAT x Green IO Wine-down

Following the first day of the conference we will head over for a small CAT x Green IO happy hour / wine-down at Nekter Deli.

Please email heather@climateaction.tech if you have any dietary restrictions (or message directly on CAT Slack).

Nekter deli is a wine bar focusing on natural or low-intervention wine. Their deli items are all sourced locally in order to support the communities it serves.

Natural or low intervention wine from small producers is a focus for Nekter due to its environmental and social benefits. By minimising chemical inputs, natural wine production fosters a thriving vineyard ecosystem, including beneficial insects and microorganisms in the soil. A hands-off approach in intervention allows the wine to express its natural characteristics. These small batch producers offer more transparency, sustainable practices and supportive environments for both their workers and local communities. Nekter Deli champion new world producers who are often employing more comprehensive and established sustainable practices compared to their European counterparts.

As ClimateAction.tech, we’re excited to invite you to an evening happy hour / wine-down at Nekter and hope you enjoy a good glass and learning about a blossoming practice fostering sustainability.
