Silicon Xchange: LA Dinner
Hosted by Silicon Xchange, with Alykhan Kaba, Founding General Partner at Aries Media Ventures, and Special Guest Ezra Chiloba, Consul General of Kenya
We're bringing Silicon Xchange to Los Angeles.
This fall, Silicon Xchange is launching across the U.S. & Africa — a series of intimate, invite-only gatherings bringing together the sharpest minds building the Silicon Valley–Africa corridor. LA is one chapter in that series, and the room is small on purpose: one table, one conversation, and a seating chart we take seriously.
The room is built around capital: GPs, LPs, and family offices investing across media & entertainment, deep tech, and climate — seated alongside the founders and operators already transacting on the corridor, and the policymakers building the environment underneath all of it. If that's you — you already know why you should be in this room.
Already transacting across the corridor? Come meet more of the people doing it. Used to, and stopped? Come find out why now is the moment to start again. Curious where to even begin, but know this is your world? Come anyway — this room was built for exactly that moment.
The evening includes a fireside conversation with our hosts on why the corridor, why LA, and why now — followed by dinner, where the real conversations happen.
Host:
Ashley Njoroge is Founder of Silicon Xchange, the platform building trusted pathways between African founders, Silicon Valley capital, and the global diaspora. A UC Berkeley alumna, former RingCentral marketing lead, and advisor to KNEIL under Kenya's National Innovation Agency (KeNIA), she's spent over a decade building at the intersection of technology, media, and venture.
Co-host:
Alykhan Kaba spent his career shaping content strategy at NBC Universal before turning to investing full-time. He's now Founding General Partner at Aries Media Ventures, backing early-stage media and entertainment startups in emerging markets — with a focus on audience measurement, content distribution, creator monetization, and production optimization.
Co-host & special guest:
Ezra Chiloba is Consul General of Kenya, working to build the policy and diplomatic infrastructure that makes it easier to do business across the corridor.
Silicon Xchange has worked with Google, OpenAI, GSMA, and KPMG, among others. We are the connective tissue that the corridor has been missing, and LA is about to feel it.
This is a hyper-curated room. Seats are invite-only, with a limited number open to Silicon Xchange Pro members by approval. If you're reading this and thinking "I need to be there" that instinct is usually right.
