XPRIZE Wildfire Awards Ceremony

​Over the past three years, innovators around the world have been competing in the $11M XPRIZE Wildfire competition to revolutionize how we detect, track, and suppress fires before they become catastrophic.

​This Climate Week NYC, the journey culminates on the global stage.

​Join pioneering finalists, climate tech leaders, and key ecosystem partners as we present the XPRIZE Wildfire awards and chart the future of autonomous environmental resilience.

​We will celebrate innovations in firefighting technologies in two key areas:

• ​Autonomous Wildfire Response: Teams traveled to Alaska to autonomously detect and suppress a high-risk fire within a 1,000 square kilometer area in under 10 minutes—while avoiding decoy fires.

• ​Space-Based Detection: Teams were challenged to detect all fires across a vast landscape in Australia in one minute and characterize data within 10 minutes with few false positives.
