About Event

About This Session:

HatchPath Group Summits are live, 1:1 interview-style conversations with expert coaches and high-performing leaders from our network, designed to deliver real, actionable insights that your team can immediately apply to their lives.

Each summit is an interactive, high-energy session focused on topics that directly impact performance and well-being. Rather than generic presentations or surface-level advice, these are in-depth, human conversations with individuals who have lived through and mastered the challenges your team is facing.

Today's Session with Coach Bec Symonds:

ADHD at work isn't just about distraction — it's about invisible stress, misunderstood coping mechanisms, and the hidden costs of operating in an environment built for neurotypical minds. Bec brings both professional expertise and personal lived experience to this conversation. Her research and coaching in neurodiversity reveals what most workplaces still get wrong: how ADHD shows up differently across genders, how it compounds under pressure, and what actually helps. This session tackles the real challenges — from meeting design and communication styles to energy management and the perfectionism trap that comes with masking. Whether you have ADHD yourself, lead a team with neurodiverse individuals, or simply want to understand the invisible struggles of your colleagues, this session offers clarity and practical pathways forward.

What to Expect:

- A grounded understanding of how ADHD actually impacts performance and stress at work

- Insight into common workplace patterns that make ADHD more difficult (and how to shift them)

- Real talk about the energy cost of masking and what sustainable management looks like

- Practical strategies for neurodiverse individuals to advocate for themselves

- Understanding for leaders and colleagues on how to create more inclusive, sustainable workplaces

- A sense of relief knowing you're not alone — and that support is possible

Why Attend:

Neurodiversity is still poorly understood in most workplaces, and that silence costs people their health, their confidence, and sometimes their careers. Bec brings 5+ years of coaching experience combined with cutting-edge research to create a space where the conversation finally gets honest. If you've ever felt like you didn't quite fit the mold at work, or if you're responsible for creating a culture where people with ADHD can actually thrive, this session will change how you think about performance and wellbeing.
