KXfb Book Meeting
After King's Cross from below was cleared for production by UCL Press on 20 July, a few decisions remain to be made together.
Our next meeting will be on Friday, 25 September at the usual location (31 Leigh Street) to look at the options side by side.
It will be the first time many of us have gathered since Michael died. It will also offer a moment to be in each other's company, and to see the book through its last steps before we can think about launch events together and the book goes to press.
If you cannot make the day, do just email me and we will find a time to meet individually!
On the day. We have two tasks to do.
The cover. We will put the shortlisted covers in front of everyone, in print and on screen, talk them through, and take a decision by the end of the evening. Those joining online will see the same options and have the same say. I will circulate the options by email a few days beforehand so that you can arrive with a view.
Timelines, maps, document lists and editorial introductions. Each contributor will have a packet with the timelines, maps, document lists and editorial introduction that accompanies their Chapter and its corresponding stories.
There will be time over coffee to read through and mark any corrections to the maps, timelines and visualisations.

Coming up. A further chance to celebrate Michael, and to get involved, comes with the INURA London 2027 Programme Design Day a week later, on Monday 28 September, 4:30 to 6:30pm, at the same address. You can register at luma.com/dbyunmsw.
