NeuroNexus: Where Research, Experience and Technology Meet
A half-day event on neurotechnology and brain health, for the people across the UK who research it, use it, care about it and build it.
New technologies for brain health are arriving fast. But what do we actually know about them, what is coming next, and what difference could they make in everyday life?
NeuroNexus brings together researchers, people with lived experience and carers, clinicians, community organisations and innovators from across the UK to find out. Across a relaxed half-day, you will:
Meet people you wouldn’t usually meet. Over lunch you’ll sit with others to explore a large map of the UK showing who is where
Hear what is known and what is emerging. A keynote and short research talks cover neurotechnology and brain health across conditions, from neurotechnology in care, biomarkers, dementia and beyond
Meet the innovators. Hear from people working in neurotechnology in relaxed, conversational interviews about what they are building, how it is going and what they are looking for, and find out how you could help
Take time to talk. Tea, coffee and a proper break to carry on conversations and explore the map
Add your voice. In table discussions, you will help build a map of what exists, what is missing and what could work better where you live and work
Who is it for?
Researchers and PhD students, carers and people with lived experience, clinicians and health professionals, community and voluntary organisations, innovators, members of the Cambridge NeuroWorks network, and anyone interested in how technology can support brain health, wherever in the UK you are based.
Everyone is welcome, and you don’t need any technical background.
