About Event

Buck the Rodeo!

Speak up for animals and take a stand against the rodeo and chuckwagon races at the Calgary Stampede.

This is a peaceful demonstration focused on raising awareness about the use of animals in these events. Signs will be available, and you’re welcome to bring your own.

When engaging with the public, please prioritize your safety. If someone is hostile, do not engage and instead disengage and refocus on the purpose of the protest.

Location:

Meet across from the Victoria/Stampede C-Train Station. From the station, cross MacLeod Trail at the traffic lights. The protest will take place along the sidewalk beside the white building at the corner of MacLeod Trail and 17 Ave SE.

When you arrive, please check in with Tawnya, Lisa, Maureen, or Ryan (CARE Admin Team).

Getting There:

Parking in the area is limited and can be busy, so taking public transit (especially the C-Train) is strongly encouraged.
