Tracking Epping Forest

​London Trackers, the creatures of Epping Forest call us to read their language!

​Fallow deer have rubbed their antlers on hazel trees, badgers have dug latrines, and a neat clump of blackbird feathers remains from a sparrowhawk kill. All await this group of curious sapiens to discover...

​Our 60 to 90 minutes of tracking will be followed by a picnic (we invite you to bring food to share). The tracking session is structured, with flags planted on animal sign to then be discussed in groups. In this way, it is approachable to those completely new to the trail (and most are absolute beginners) as well as experienced trackers.

​We will also send out a species list ahead of the visit to pre-load us all with knowledge of who stalks these lands. Don't hesitate to ask any questions ahead of time.
