​What if you could automate the things you spend hours doing manually? Or build an AI-powered tool without having to write hundreds of lines of code?

​LOOP is a two-day AI & automation hackathon hosted by UBC eProjects, in partnership with n8n and Nebius.

​Spend a weekend turning an everyday problem into a working solution. Connect apps, experiment with AI, build workflows, and see what you can make with the tools already out there.

​Never been to a hackathon? Never coded before? Perfectly fine. We're bringing together developers, designers, business students, and complete beginners. You don't need to arrive with a team, an idea, or any experience with n8n.

​🔥 WHAT'S GOING DOWN

• ​🛠️ Hands-on n8n workshop: Learn how to build automations from scratch, even if you've never touched the platform before.

• ​💻 Two days of building: Pick a challenge, team up, and turn an idea into a working prototype using n8n and AI.

• ​🧠 Mentorship throughout: Get feedback, troubleshoot problems, and learn from people with experience in tech, product, and entrepreneurship.

• ​🏆 Prizes up for grabs: Build something worth showing off and compete for prizes across our hackathon tracks.

• ​🎤 Product & AI Panel: Wrap up the weekend with a candid conversation about building useful products, getting them into people's hands, and responsible AI.

​Coders, non-coders, first-time hackers, experienced builders, and anyone curious about what they can make with AI and automation.

​Come with friends or sign up solo. We'll help match individual participants into teams based on your interests.

​You don't have to know how to build something yet. That's part of why we're doing this.

​Building can continue remotely on Saturday night if your team wants to, but there's no overnight in-person requirement.
