About Event

Many Christians claim that America fundamentally is a religious nation. Most of the founding fathers were Christians and they even made God part of the Declaration of Independence. Rights, some believe, only derive from religions.

Others argue that America is incompatible with religion by nature, and any connection to it is merely incidental.

What is the relation between religion and America? How can American ideals exist without it?

In this essay, "Religion Versus America", Leonard Peikoff analyzes the fundamental relationship between them, and argues Religion and America are diametrically opposed ideas.
