Build with AI: Gemma 4 Hands-on Workshop and Deployment Best Practices
In this Deep Tech Stars event with Google for Developers, we will dive deep into Gemma 4, the latest open-source model in the Gemma series of LLMs. It is powerful, challenging Gemini itself on certain benchmarks but still light-weight enough that it can run directly on your mobile phone. This unlocks a huge range of possibilities and usecases, which we will explore at this event. You will also be given $5 of Google Cloud credits so that you can try things out.

PREREQUISITES
You must download Gemma 4 beforehand on the laptop you are bringing to the event. At the event, we do not have any time slot scheduled for installation and will be diving straight into using the installed Gemma 4. Since this session is hands-on, laptop is required. Ideally bring your personal laptop and not a company laptop, as there may be admin rights issues in the company laptop that prevent you from accessing the required tools, sites, installing or running programs, etc.
