Workshop 2 : Resume Writing with Moyo Adesina
Job searching in Canada comes with its own set of questions. How do you translate experiences that resonate onto a Canadian resume? How do you stand out without over or underselling?
This workshop is a hands-on session with Moyo Adesina, walking through what makes a strong resume and what to leave behind. You'll leave with practical tools you can apply to your next application.
What we'll work through:
Structuring a resume that recruiters actually read
Translating all your experience for a Canadian context
Common mistakes and how to avoid them
Come prepared with: A current draft of your resume (or a rough one) if you'd like to apply what you're learning in real time. Not required but it could be helpful
Who it's for: International students at any stage of the job search — whether you're applying for your first co-op, a summer role, or your first job after graduation.
