Janie Ho is a TEDx speaker, longtime journalist and news growth leader (NY Daily News, GQ, NY Mag, BusinessWeek, CBS and ABC News), data-driven digital strategy and storytelling and social media expert (LinkedIn, SEO agencies, Trump Hotels, Expedia). A 5x lauded speaker at conferences in NYC, DC and LA, she's also a favored adjunct professor of social media at SUNY FIT, and a guest lecturer at NYU and Boston College in social and digital.
Janie also teaches companies, entrepreneurs, and job seekers how to leverage social, digital, and media to drive ROI from your time online.
She combines tech, creative, and journalism skills to train companies in lifestyles and hospitality, having been a restaurant, nightlife, and dating writer for New York Magazine and GQ.
Janie has also worked with dating sites and apps, and loves speaking about online dating as a podcast guest.
On the side, Janie is a portrait and events photographer, where she shoots portraits (100+ current people's LinkedIn profile photos), and events (weddings, parties, and more). She is from Staten Island, NY, a graduate of Boston College, and lives in New York City.

ABOUT STORY LAB NYC
Story Lab is an invite-only community for working storytellers, creatives, and brands/startups. All sessions are complimentary for vetted industry professionals.
Story Lab begins as a weekly (every Wednesday at 7 pm est via Skool or Zoom) virtual gathering for individuals working to bring new projects to the screen (film/tv, streaming, podcast, and socials).
Then, we take it to another level via our monthly IRL gatherings (last Wednesday of the month, 6 pm-9 pm) at Planet X Studios in Brooklyn, bringing together vetted filmmakers, music producers, content creators, and media professionals with industry experts, fellow storytellers, and brands / companies that are building the tools and services they use.
