The Art of Noticing: The Opportunity Series
The Art of Noticing
Creativity, observation, and entrepreneurial opportunity
Part of The Opportunity Series
Most entrepreneurship education starts with ideas, business plans, or long-term vision.
This series starts somewhere earlier: attention.
Before opportunity becomes a business, it exists as something subtle — a pattern, a friction, a gap, or a moment that feels more interesting than the rest.
This interactive workshop explores how entrepreneurs develop the ability to notice these signals in everyday life, and translate them into meaningful action.
Through a series of guided exercises, we’ll work through:
how to spot patterns, gaps, and “unfinished” experiences
emotional energy and what feels alive in the world
observation as a creative and entrepreneurial skill
turning everyday friction into opportunity
rapid idea translation through experimentation
This is not a lecture on startup theory or business planning.
It is a hands-on session about perception, creativity, and agency — and how noticing differently can become the foundation for building something of your own.
This workshop is designed for students interested in small business, creative entrepreneurship, side projects, branding, food concepts, fashion, media, events, or community-building.
No business idea required.
Each session in The Opportunity Series stands on its own. You are welcome to attend one workshop or explore several throughout the term.
