Temporal Interference Brain Stimulation Training Workshop @ SfN 2026
Registration of interest - NOTE the payment (300 USD) will be requested following confirmation of your place and when SfN abstract acceptances have been communicated.
Advancing Deep Brain Stimulation – Noninvasively
Temporal interference (TI) is a novel brain-stimulation technology that enables precise, noninvasive modulation of deep brain structures, a capability previously achievable only through invasive neurosurgery. TI has also catalysed significant engineering advances and provided new fundamental insights into neuromodulation.
This satellite workshop, held as a satellite of the Society for Neuroscience (SFN) Annual Meeting 2026, aims to equip participants with key knowledge and capabilities critical to the highest-standard implementation of TI stimulation in human brain research and clinical therapy development, thereby facilitating the translational impact of this rapidly growing field.
The workshop will feature interactive lectures, hands-on practice sessions, and open discussions to maximise knowledge transfer and foster collaboration.
Target Audience
The workshop is designed to provide essential in-depth knowledge and hands-on practice for a broad range of research professionals who integrate, or are interested in integrating, TI stimulation into translational brain research.
Four Thematic Sessions
The workshop is divided into four in-depth sessions, each combining interactive lectures with hands-on practice:
Fundamentals
Equipment
Deployment
Applications
