June SCPFP Meetup

​This month we're joined by Erica Richard and Samantha Destremps, co-founders of South Coast Girls Walk — the free walking group that's grown into a region-wide community of women connecting through movement, friendship, and support for local businesses.

​What began as an idea between two friends has become something much bigger, with walks happening everywhere from New Bedford and Mattapoisett to Fall River, Newport, and beyond, along with charity events and spinoffs like South Coast Girls Night Out. Erica and Sam will share how they built it from the ground up, what they've learned about creating real connection, and how walking became the thread that ties it all together.

​So many of us are working to make our own neighborhoods more walkable and more connected — so this is a great chance to hear from people doing exactly that, and to trade ideas.
