For the third time, Nike and Omek team up to bring an online career experience designed to equip, inspire and connect bicultural students of African descent with Nike leaders, former interns and career opportunities.
We’ve seen where it can lead.
Previous attendees have gone on to secure Nike internships and take the next step in their careers. Now, we’re ready to open the doors to this space again.
About Nike’s Internships in EMEA 🌍
The Nike internship program is designed to give students the opportunity to engage in meaningful work that impacts the future of the business, ranging from brand design and marketing to data analytics and technology.
50+ internship opportunities to be filled at the Nike European HQ in Hilversum (The Netherlands) and in Belgium
6-month full-time (40h/weekly) internships, starting from February 2027
Application is open between September 21st and close October 12th
To be eligible for an internship you must ⚠️:
Be currently enrolled in a full-time study program at a Dutch university (HBO or WO level), regardless of your nationality OR hold EU/EEA citizenship and be enrolled in a university outside the Netherlands
Be a student for the whole duration of the internship (enrolled in a university/higher education institution)
Have a valid EU passport or work permit to work in the Netherlands

18:30-19:00 — Work it
Application Lab: In breakout rooms led by Nike's University Relations Team and former interns, get insights and ask questions about how to stand out in the application process.
19:00-20:00 — Build It
Hear from a BEN&Friends (Black Employee Network) leader on how to build a sense of belonging at Nike
Join breakout rooms for informal networking with key team members at Nike.

Founded in 2019, Omek is a startup whose mission is to unlock and share the talent, voices, and energy of biculturals of African descent. Based in Amsterdam with global outreach, our process is twofold. First, we create programs and events that make connection and collaboration simple within biculturals of African descent and allies. We then work with partners to bring insight and access to a diverse pool of talent.
