Echo of Nature
Join us for the 2026 Stanford Baipu Chinese Music Ensemble Concert, an evening where timeless Chinese artistry meets contemporary expression. Inspired by the rhythms and imagery of nature, our program brings together the expressive voices of guzheng, pipa, yangqin, dizi, and cello. Their distinct timbres evoke flowing waters and distant mountain echoes, the light flutter of butterflies and birds in flight, and blossoms unfolding in quiet grace. Rooted in tradition yet enlivened through cross-cultural collaboration, these instruments converge to create an aural landscape that reflects both the serenity and the vitality of the natural world.
Through intricate melodies and rich harmonies, our musicians weave a tapestry of sound, sharing the stories and traditions that shape this music’s poetic elegance.
Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. We kindly recommend planning your visit in advance to ensure a comfortable experience.
