What To Do With Your Anger: A Somatic Workshop
Anger is a protective and beneficial emotion that tells you where your boundaries have been crossed.
Universally, women have been primed NOT to express anger, while it's almost the only emotion men have *traditionally been allowed to, and even encouraged to express.
This leads to an imbalance in our society where many women suppress their anger and develop chronic pain and auto-immune diseases, while many men may take it out in unhealthy and sometimes, even harmful ways.
However, it doesn't have to be this way. Anger is an emotion that needs to be embraced and allowed to do its job: to protect us and keep us healthy.
I'm hosting this workshop to guide you in feeling, processing and somatically releasing your anger in healthy and healing ways, so that you can have more peace in your nervous system and with important people in your life <3
We'll do some practical exercises together to help you embrace anger as a constructive emotion that can lead to healing.
We don't have to be afraid of and repress our anger.
*Despite gender stereotypes, people may have different socialized reactions. In this workshop everyone is welcome to explore their unique relationship with anger.
