Reimagining AI: Crafting New Imaginaries 1

​Join me for Part 2 of 3 of Reimagining AI: Crafting cultural narratives for AI futures!

​Through engaging with cultural artefacts and connecting with our dhaqan, we will collectively decolonise our imagination and design a new value system to guide the technologies we want in the future.

​What will be provided:

• ​Heritage objects by Culture House

• ​Magazines, glue, stickers etc for zine-making

​What to bring:

• ​Your favourite objects, stories, poems, images etc. that have cultural and personal significance to you

• ​Your creativity and imagination!

​Dinner and drinks will be provided! Tickets are free.

​This workshop is part of a Masters thesis project exploring Somali diasporic AI futures in 2035, and a consent form will be shared ahead of the session to capture the ideas we generate to inform my research. All names will be anonymised to maintain a safe space. The session will also be photographed - you are welcome to opt out of photography and still engage.
