Workers' Coalition for Palestine: Half-Day Workshop
Workers' Coalition for Palestine supports grassroots workplace organising across Scotland. Through events, training, and resources that connect rank-and-file workers and communities, we aim to build effective strategies and concrete actions to end complicity in genocide and occupation. United we stand.
Following the day school run by the SPSC Trade Union committee and Workers for a Free Palestine in April, it became clear that there is a shared need for a cross-union and cross-sector forum to focus our workplace campaigns in solidarity with Palestine.
To this end, we're holding the first event in a series of quarterly workshops on Saturday November 7th, 12:00-17:00, at the Unison Office in Glasgow, at 16 Albion Street, G1 1LH.
This session will be focused on organising in our workplaces, with a chance to workshop your own campaign strategies and common obstacles. We will also be coordinating concrete plans for the week of worker action, November 20-29th, which has been called by Palestinian trade unions.
Whether your background is in unions, communities, or you are brand new to organising, all levels of experience are welcomed and encouraged.
