SF October 7 Massacre Commemoration
Hear from Rom El-Hai, who managed to survive the terrorist attack on October 7th at the Nova Music Festival, about the moments of joy & happiness that gave way to fear and horror and from there to a long journey of recovery and hope.
As we near the third-year anniversary of the atrocities of Simchat Torah / October 7 massacre in Israel, San Francisco's Jewish community will gather in remembrance and solidarity to reaffirm our sense of self and to stand together against the forces of antisemitism and delegitimization.
The program will include the testimony of Nova survivor Rom El-Hai, address by community leaders, candle lighting to honor the memories of the deceased and the memorial prayers.
The commemoration will take place on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at 6:30 PM
Strong security, government ID is required to gain entry. The location and parking information will be sent out the night before of the event.
