​We talk a lot about renewing our Iman and recovering our spiritual connection to Allah after a period of distance during Ramadan. But there's a more uncomfortable question underneath that cycle of distance and closeness. What are we actually drifting toward when we drift away? And is it possible to be astray without feeling like it?

​This conversation is an invitation to examine what it truly means to choose Islam and to reflect critically on the beliefs and frameworks we've absorbed that shape how we see ourselves, our choices, and the world. What does a genuine orientation toward Al-Haqq, Truth itself, actually look like? And what does return require beyond renewing intention, praying more and working on feeling connected?
