In this session, meet 3 alumni across 3 career stages and get honest insights into the realities of working in communications. Expect:

✅ Honest conversations on growth, trade-offs and where the industry is headed

A peek at our three speakers:
Athena Tan (CS'24) is the Marketing Manager at Läderach Singapore, driving branding, strategy, digital advertising, PR and partnerships for the luxury Swiss chocolatier. She founded her own agency at 16, representing musicians and events before building her career in marketing.
Sharanya Pillai (CS'17) is a Correspondent at The Business Times, Singapore's flagship financial newspaper, with seven years' experience covering startups to nuclear power. She previously worked at The Edge and CNBC, and was a visiting scholar at Tsinghua University in 2024.
Kelvin Kao (CS'05) is the Founder and CEO of PROTOCOL, an independent creative agency specialising in strategy, social media and content. He serves on the Advisory Board of WKWSCI and is an adjunct lecturer at NTU's School of Humanities and Social Sciences. He is also a CNA columnist writing on leadership, workplace culture and organisational life.
