About Event

About the Session:

You know that voice that tells you you're not enough? Let's talk about it.

If you're an ambitious woman, chances are you have a very well-developed inner critic. It probably helped you get where you are — and it also probably costs you something.

Many women are very familiar with their inner critic — that voice that questions, second-guesses, and sometimes stops them in their tracks. What's less familiar is the inner mentor: the wiser, more grounded voice that's also there, often drowned out by the noise.  This voice provides perspective, wisdom, and a lot less judgment. Based on the work of Tara Mohr and Playing Big.

You'll Leave With:

  • A better understanding of your Inner Critic and why it exists.

  • How to identify when your Inner Critic shows up and how to quiet it.

  • How to connect with your Inner Mentor.

  • How to utilize your Inner Mentor as a guide.

About the Host:

Jessica Peters is a psychotherapist and mindset coach.  For over 13 years, she has worked with children, adolescents, adults, families, and parents in both private practice and school-based settings. She believes that at the heart of meaningful therapy and coaching is a strong, trusting relationship. Her experience spans the nonprofit sector, public and independent schools, and leadership roles as a school administrator. These diverse experiences shape her approach, allowing her to offer a well-rounded perspective that supports deep, effective relational work.

She works alongside her clients, helping them uncover what’s getting in the way of the life and relationships they want to create. Together, she works with you to explore new ways of thinking, feeling, and being. Depending on her client’s goals, she uses either therapy or mindset coaching techniques and tools.  Regardless of the path, her approach is consistent and intentional while also being approachable and down-to-earth. Her ability to listen closely and support your unique needs offers clarity and new perspectives. There may even be a laugh or two along the way—because growth doesn’t have to be all serious.

She believes in the power of this work as a space for growth, self-discovery, and lightness.  To find out more, visit her website at www.jessicapetersmft.com.
