Come on down for a scenic late afternoon hike from Robert Moses Field 5 to Kismet on Fire Island. The route heads through the dunes and past the lighthouse before stopping in town at a local restaurant, Kismet Dive, for anyone who wants to grab food or drinks, then returns along the beach with ocean views and a beautiful sunset to close out the walk.
This is a flat hike and an easy way to enjoy one of the best stretches of shoreline on Long Island. The beach portion can be done barefoot if you prefer. Please note that food and drinks are not included. Meet at Robert Moses State Park Field 5 and come ready for fresh air, great views, and a relaxed evening outdoors.
