back then we really believed that
growing up = everything getting better ✧
people from the Y2K era genuinely believed in the future.
the internet was opening, cities were growing, the world was connected.
and tomorrow always felt shiny and loading… ☼⋆｡𖦹 °✩
but slowly, we get polished down by reality.
we learn productivity, work, efficiency,
how to explain ourselves much,
how to fold feelings into smaller versions of themselves.
still… sometimes…
a smell,
an old phrase,
a summer evening breeze,

那时候的未来闪闪发光， 就像半透明的塑料外壳、QQ的提示音、游戏厅的霓虹灯、翻盖手机、MP3，还有汽水里不断上升的气泡 ₊˚⊹♡
那时的我们真的相信： 长大 = 一切都会变得更好 ✧
处于 Y2K 时代的人们，曾那样真挚地信任着未来。 网络才刚打开，城市在向上生长，世界紧密相连， 明天，永远是一幅亮晶晶的、正在加载中的画面… ☼⋆｡𖦹 °✩
可是后来，现实把人都磨得妥帖而平整。 我们学会了生产力、学会了工作和效率， 学会了有条不紊地解释自己， 学会了把宏大的情绪，折叠成更小、更不容易碰伤别人的形状。
但……总有那么一些瞬间， 一种气味、一句过去的流行语、一阵夏夜的晚风， 或者一个不知道从哪个角落蹦出来的 2007 年的手机铃声， 会让身体越过理智想起来： 我们也曾野蛮生长过 ⋆༺☆༻⋆
