Venture Feud @ New York Climate Week
Back and better than ever. What some people (not our moms) called "the best event of SF Climate Week" left the West Coast with bragging rights and the East Coast with a serious grudge. The trash talk never really stopped, so we're bringing Venture Feud to New York, this time on East Coast turf.
RA Capital and JP Morgan are once again flipping the script on the typical Climate Week panel: a live West Coast (B Capital, Congruent, Khosla, Obvious, Voyager Ventures) vs. East Coast (Activate, Azolla, Clean Energy Ventures, New System Ventures, Valo Ventures) game show rematch. The all-star Partner teams are:
Representing the West Coast
Andrew Beebe, Obvious Ventures
Rajesh Swaminathan, Khosla Ventures
Jeff Johnson, B Capital
Abe Yokell, Congruent Ventures
Sierra Peterson, Voyager Ventures
Representing the East Coast:
Matthew Nordan, Azolla Ventures
Dan Goldman, Clean Energy Ventures
Jon Guerster, Activate Capital
Scott Tierney, Valo Ventures
Ian Samuels, New System Ventures
Returning as MC is Kathryn Meng from RA Capital to guide the teams through a competition on venture capital and technology and sector trends. Sharp instincts and fast buzzer hits will win over talking points and poise. The West Coast took the title after San Francisco — now the East Coast gets its shot to claim it, at home.
Before the big day, we ask that you fill out this short survey. The teams' mission? Guess the most popular responses. The stakes? Regional pride and bragging rights.
Come for the gameshow, stay to watch the skyline light up from JP Morgan's new offices, leave with a little more intel on how VCs really think.
