About Event

🌟 Overview
Join builders, designers, and wonderers for the first-ever All Saints CatholicOS Hackathon — a two-week virtual hack celebrating creativity, collaboration, and the communion of saints. Hosted by the CatholicOS open-source initiative, the hackathon invites developers, designers, theologians, educators, and innovators to build tools, apps, and ideas that serve the Church and the world through technology rooted in faith.

💡 What It’s About
Over two weeks, teams will form, code, design, and ship projects that explore the intersection of Catholic thought and open-source innovation. Challenges range from AI-driven catechetical tools and parish-management software to liturgical calendar APIs, digital prayer companions, and community platforms for Catholic developers. The event culminates on All Saints’ Day, celebrating both human and technological co-creation aimed toward the good, the true, and the beautiful.

👥 Who Should Join

  • Developers & Engineers: Bring your skills to build meaningful open-source projects.

  • Designers & Creatives: Shape beautiful, usable interfaces and experiences.

  • Theologians & Educators: Guide the “why” behind the “what,” grounding innovation in Catholic anthropology.

  • Students & Startups: Experiment, learn, and connect with mentors across technology and faith.

  • Parish Innovators & Ministry Leaders: Prototype solutions for real pastoral needs.
