For the Love of Community (as a Verb) | Special Shared Table Edition 🌟
How acts of care, service, and extending our table bring us closer to each other.
As the year comes to a close, we want to gather one more time—of course, around a Shared Table to celebrate this moment, each other, and the community—as a verb—as something we do. Showing up for one another, sharing food, smiles, a glance back at 2025, and celebrating what is.
Here’s your warm invitation to close the year with us—cozy and a little bit festive ✨
Two ways to join:
🍪 From 15:00 — Come early and join our great holiday cookies co-baking session! You’ll get details on what to bring, but expect flour, sprinkles, and maybe the most chaotic (and joyful) baking scene of the year.
🍜 From 18:00 — Join for the potluck dinner as usual and bring a vegetarian dish to share. We might break the no-alcohol rule and bring Glühwein (mulled wine) and an alcohol-free version to cheer to this year!
💛 Giving back: We’ll be giving 50% of all donations to Berliner Kältehilfe, supporting people experiencing homelessness during the dark months.
What you need to know
Timing ⏳
15:00 — Doors open at C*Space, Langhansstraße 86, 13086 Berlin
15:30 — We begin the baking sesh (arrive by now)
18:00–19:00 — Transition to potluck / cooking or prepping at our on-site kitchen
19:15 — Potluck dinner starts (arrive by now latest if you come for dinner only)
🍪 Baking
We’ll make three types: Vanilla “Kipferl”, vegan butter cookies (cut-out), and no-bake chocolate crispies (my skill level 😂).
To keep it simple and fun, we’ll work with pre-made, cooled dough, so we can focus on shaping, baking, decorating, and well, tasting!
🧺 What to Bring
Vegetarian potluck dish 🍲 (savory, sweet, whatever you like to bring and share with the group)
Optional:
Decorations — sprinkles, nuts, icing pens, chocolate chips...
Cookie cutters 🌙
Snacks-for-during-baking
Glühwein (ok to break the no-alcohol rule this time)
A takeaway box (for cookies + leftovers...in case)
💛 Can’t wait to see you!
With love,
Monika & C*Space
