About Event

As developers, we get to make prioritisation decisions on a daily basis - some turn to be right and others… not so much!

We have a new product to launch, incidents to resolve, team members to help or onboard, and a codebase to maintain. 🤯 We may work extra hours to get everything done, yet we continue to have a continuous feeling that we’re falling behind. 😮‍💨

Regardless if team priorities are clear or continuously-changing, the decisions we make will affect the work we deliver at the end of the day, and the relationships we have with our team. This can create stress that we take home with us. 👎

If this resonates with you, and you’d like to try a different way to prioritise and communicate with your team, this workshop is for you!

-------

I want this workshop to bring real value to you! That's why I will keep the participants group small (up to 12 people) and make the workshop interactive - come willing to participate and turn your cameras on. 😉

Meet your Coach

Hi! My name is Maria Stylianou and I'm a software engineering manager. I spent the past decade working in London, from startup founder, to software engineer and engineering manager in scale-ups. I'm now vlogging on life after leaving my 9-to-5 job, and I help developers and engineering managers grow in their careers.

I'm so looking forward to meeting you!

Maria

FAQs

Who can participate?

Software developers who work within a tech team, tech leads, engineering leaders.

I’m not a developer, tech lead or engineering leader. Can I still participate?

Yes, go ahead! ! In the past, product designers, QA/testers and product managers have being interested in similar workshops. I’d love to hear who else finds this workshop interesting

Is this for senior developers only?

Not really. We get to make prioritisation calls from very early in our careers. You can be a university student who wants to get exposed to what's coming, a software developer at the start of your career or further along, an engineering leader and you want to bring new prioritisation tools in your team.

How large will the class be?

Maximum team’s size: up to 12 participants. I prefer to have a smaller intimate team, so that everyone can get to participate, ask questions and get as much value out of it.

What if more people sign up?

What a wonderful problem to have! I will set out new dates to run the workshop again in the coming weeks!
