About Event

What if a leader's job isn't to make change happen, but to hold the space where it can? Whether you're leading a team through change, or living through your own, you will leave this workshop with a new way to think about change leadership.

One that replaces pressure and control with safety, clarity, and support.

We are taught that leaders have to be the drivers of change. Plan it, control it, push it through. And while they're busy forcing the outcome, the people around them are exhausted, disengaged, and scrolling Indeed on their lunch break.

This way, quite frankly …. sucks.

What if a leader's job isn't to make the change happen, but to hold the space where it can? Whether you're leading a team through change, or living through your own, you will leave this workshop with a new way to think about change leadership. One that replaces pressure and control with safety, clarity, and support.

We'll talk about why change fails, what the hardest moments are actually telling you, and what it looks like to show up for change in a way that actually works; for your people, and for you.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR

Aisha Malik-Seabold didn't choose organizational development. Organizational development chose her, probably because it needed someone willing to compare corporate change management to childbirth and make it make sense.

Armed with an MBA, a SHRM-CP, and actual doula training, Aisha works with leaders and organizations navigating transformation, helping them stop trying to force change through and start holding the conditions where it can actually take hold.

Her path here is unconventional by design: direct service worker, senior leader, board member, birth doula, organizational theorist. She has guided teams through a global pandemic, multiple leadership crises, and the particular chaos of being human inside systems that forgot humans exist. She has also helped people breathe through contractions. These are more similar than you'd think.

Her philosophy: organizations don't implement change. They labor through it.

Her vibe: extremely calm about things that should be alarming.

Available for keynotes, workshops, and conversations that make you rethink everything you thought you knew about leadership. Not available to tell you change is easy - but she will absolutely hold your hand through it.
