​Event Description & Details

​The Bechtel Programs Team is berry excited to announce our 2026 Summer Excursion! Join us on Saturday, August 1st as we head to Tru2Earth farms in Gilroy for a berry-picking adventure! Learn about organic berry farming and pick your own fresh strawberries, blackberries, raspberries (red & golden), blueberries  🍓

​First, we will head to Tru2Earth Farms where we will tour the farm and pick our own fresh berries! There will be other items for sale such a fresh veggies, jams, and flowers. 💐

​Please plan to block out 9:00 am to 3:30 pm for this event. Those who successfully register will receive full itinerary details.

​To note

• ​This event is open only to currently enrolled Stanford students (undergraduate and graduate students)

• ​Both international and domestic students are eligible to participate

• ​Your $35 registration includes transportation, the farm tour, and pound of strawberries or ½ pound of another berry. Open to all enrolled Stanford students. RSVP required!

• ​Student will be responsible for their own lunch when we visit downtown Gilroy after our farm visit
