Located somewhere between Cradles for Crayons and the Cabot Retirement Community, this underground vinyl listening bar is the hottest place on the edge of Brighton that your parents have never heard of.
Chez Elise has everything: records, candles, suspiciously expensive cheese, and a man named Will who may or may not be Keanu Reeves. Rumor has it Bill Murray bartends here every first Tuesday of the month, but honestly, nobody knows for certain.
The password is “Hotel California.” The doorman is a 63-year-old man named Chip who will ask you to name your favorite Fleetwood Mac album. DONT YOU DARE say Tusk.
On October 9th, Chez Elise celebrates its 33rd year in business, despite opening approximately 11 minutes ago.
