Volunteer with Lyte Collective (Volunteering Untapped Chicago)

​20 volunteers will help organizing and wrapping gifts for the families served by the Lyte Collective programs.

Get festive with us! This is a Holiday-themed event, so feel free to rock your ugliest Christmas sweater or any fabulously festive outfit Santa would approve of.

​Lyte Collective is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting young adults affected by poverty and homelessness.

​They provide this support through three main initiatives:

• ​Mobile Youth Support: Meeting young people wherever they are and offering direct, on-the-spot assistance.

• ​Lyte Apartments: Transitional housing for young adults (18–30) who have experienced violence or are facing homelessness.

• ​Lyte Lounge: A community center offering programs, resources, and a safe space for young people navigating poverty and housing instability.

​As part of their volunteer initiatives, Lyte also gathers wishlists from families in their community who may not have the means to purchase gifts. Anyone interested in sponsoring a wishlist can do so using the link below:
