FinTech 101: Intro to DeFi

​A student workshop on decentralized finance — open to all universities, no experience needed.

Global Fintech Network Japan is hosting its very first student event, and we'd love to see you there.

​FinTech 101: Intro to DeFi is a hands-on workshop designed for students who are curious about the future of finance. You'll hear from an industry guest speaker, take part in a live group simulation, and have space to network with students from universities across Japan.

​No prior knowledge required — whether you're completely new to FinTech or already exploring the space, this event is for you.

​Group Activity — DeFi Round Table Simulation:

​Split into groups representing banks, governments, and financial institutions, you'll navigate a real-life DeFi case study led by our guest speaker. The goal? Understand how decentralized finance actually plays out across different stakeholders — through discussion, not slides.
