About Event

Our previous Taipei ride brought together 44+ riders for an exciting, social, and super chill afternoon. Now we’re launching a new night experience — Youbike, E-bike, and Road bike friendly, so we can avoid the hot sun.

This is a voluntary and free social event, which is capped at 20 people. No race & pressure, just a relaxed group ride with great people and a scenic night view to Raohe Night Market.

Terms and Conditions

  • Agreement to Rules: By registering for this event or participating in the activity, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms and agree to comply with all regulations outlined below.

  • Event Updates: Participants should monitor the Line group and TAP-Taipei IG page for upcoming announcements, including pre-event instructions.

  • Traffic Regulations: All participants must obey traffic rules and signals, ride on the right side of the road or keep to the curb, and not ride against traffic. Running red lights, racing, using mobile phones while riding, or engaging in other dangerous behaviors is strictly prohibited. If the group is separated due to traffic lights, please do not violate traffic rules to catch up. Wait at a safe location and rejoin the group when possible. Bicycles are legally classified as slow-moving vehicles, meaning participants bear full legal responsibility for any accidents, damage, injuries, or traffic fines resulting from violations.

  • Assumption of Risk: Participants understand that riding activities involve certain risks. In principle, participants shall bear responsibility for any personal injury or property damage arising from their own actions, other road users, road conditions, or unexpected circumstances. However, this provision does not exclude or limit any liability that cannot legally be waived.

  • Insurance: The organizers has not purchased commercial accident insurance specifically for this activity. Participants are encouraged to obtain appropriate insurance coverage based on their individual needs.

  • Downhill & Surface Safety: Reduce speed and refrain from overtaking on downhill sections. Avoid riding over road markings—especially in wet conditions—as they become slick and hazardous.

  • Gear & Lighting Requirements: To stay safe in fog or rain, bicycles must have front and rear lights. Wearing a cycling helmet is recommended.

  • Water Bottle Security: Participants must use cycling-specific water bottles and verify that their bottle cages are secure. Loose bottles pose a serious hazard to following riders.

  • Equipment Inspection: Check bike components and tire pressure thoroughly before the event to ensure your bicycle is in optimal condition.

  • Non-Competitive Format: This is a non-competitive event on the riverside path without traffic control. Participants must follow staff guidance, obey traffic rules, maintain a safe following distance, and ride single-file along the path.

  • Health Self-Assessment: Evaluate your fitness level carefully. Pull over to a safe area to rest immediately if you feel unwell, and do not push beyond your physical limits.

  • Media Rights: The organizer reserves the right to air, publish, and display event footage, photos, and results globally across media platforms, websites, and publications. Participants consent to the use of their image, results, and media coverage for promotional purposes.

  • Staff Authority: Event staff reserves the right to suspend or terminate any participant's ride based on physical condition or road safety concerns without dispute.

  • Contingency Plan: In the event of typhoons, severe weather, or unexpected emergencies, the organizer reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or alter the event route and format for participant safety. Decisions will be made in the best interest of all riders.

  • Environmental Protection: Respect the environment and preserve clean surroundings by strictly refraining from littering.

  • Amendments: The organizer reserves the right to modify or supplement these regulations at any time.
