Discovering Your Purpose
✨ What if purpose isn’t something you chase—but something you uncover?
Join us for an inspiring evening with Stephanie Cowan — Connection Specialist and founder of The Drop In — whose work transforms the way people gather and find belonging. Blending joy, vulnerability, play, and storytelling, she invites you to explore purpose as a living, evolving practice rather than a single defining moment.
Drawing from her nonlinear path — from musical theatre to photography to building community at scale — Stephanie offers a grounded framework for noticing the clues already woven into your daily life. Through thoughtful prompts and moments of connection, she’ll help you tap into your unique gifts and imagine how they can serve something meaningful. A heartfelt session for anyone ready to feel more aligned, present, and alive.
+ This lecture also includes a guided writing activity! We recommend bringing a physical photo of yourself from when you were a child. 💫
📵 A No-Phone Lecture 📵
This event is a special one: we are asking attendees not to use their phones during the duration of the event (7-9pm). After you check in, we will ask you to turn your phone off and slip it into an envelope provided at the door. We won’t take your phone or lock it away, but the goal is to create a space where we can all be present together, listening and thinking without distractions.
If you’d like to take notes, please make sure to bring a journal. If you forget, we will have journals and pens available for purchase at the event. This is your chance to experience ideas and conversation the old-fashioned way, fully in the moment.

We want our lectures to be as accessible as possible. Depending on the venue, some audience members may need to stand, and our rule of thumb is that around 5% of attendees may not have seats. If you need specific seating accommodations, we recommend arriving early to secure a seat, or emailing us at [email protected] so we can make arrangements for you.
Accessibility can vary depending on the space, so please research our specific venue to learn more about things like wheelchair access and service animal policies. If you have any accessibility needs not covered here, feel free to reach out and we’ll do our best to support you.
