Pamoja Corporate Philanthropy: Entrepreneurial Mindsets and Innovation in Education
Most entrepreneurship funding backs ventures that already exist. Far less backs the mindset that leads someone to start one, and that mindset is shaped early, in classrooms and by teachers.
Pamoja is Huruma Bantfu’s Corporate Philanthropy Series, co-convened with the Trevor Noah Foundation. This Cape Town edition brings together corporate funders, foundations and practitioners to explore how philanthropy can grow entrepreneurial thinking in young people and the teachers who support them.
The conversation is anchored by the Bertha Centre for Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the UCT Graduate School of Business. It explores entrepreneurial mindset as a driver of innovation and what it takes to work well with young people. Expect short provocations, open roundtables, and practical next steps.
