About Event

Prelude partners with leading companies to develop high school internship programs for local students from lower-income communities.  Most companies begin the program as a community engagement initiative. The unexpected benefit? The experience ends up being valuable for the interns’ managers as well.

84% of Prelude intern supervisors say the experience contributed to their own professional development: sharpening how they delegate, coach, and give clear, actionable feedback. At the same time, each manager is deeply impacting a young person by providing them with an early professional work experience.

Join us for a candid, virtual panel with:

• Quinton Cookis, Brand Manager – Goldfish, Portfolio Strategy | The Campbell's Company

• Lauren Toner, Program & Operations Manager | NFI Industries

• Daniel Gutowski, Data Analytics Manager | Audible

...as they share the day-to-day reality of managing a Prelude intern.

Who Should Attend?

Whether you're considering mentoring a young adult, or you work in HR, L&D, CSR, or broader leadership, this session is a great opportunity to explore how leadership development and social impact can go hand-in-hand.

What to Expect:

• Real stories from managers across leading organizations

• Insights on leadership growth, from delegation to effective feedback delivery

• A closer look at how Prelude creates a "dual-benefit" experience for both companies and local communities

• The commitment required for managers considering the program
