RETICULAR FELLOWS RESEARCH GRANT OPENS THAT NIGHT.
One $10,000 institutional grant plus genomic analysis of up to 50 cases will be awarded to an REI fellow working on euploid pregnancy loss or recurrent implantation failure. Applications open the evening of the event and close December 1. If you mentor fellows, come and hear it. If you are one, bring a question you want to answer.
The event is moderated by Sara Vaughn, MD — a reproductive endocrinologist double board-certified in OB/GYN and REI, previously the medical director at Spring Fertility of Silicon Valley and VC consultant. She is currently CMO at Clair Health and a Vitra Labs advisor.
ABOUT RETICULAR
We screen couples and embryos for 750+ single-gene causes of pregnancy loss—the genes behind egg maturation, fertilization, and early embryo development that standard testing was never built to assess. In a 2025 study of couples with unexplained recurrent loss where the lost embryos were chromosomally normal, 1 in 4 carried a single-gene cause. We can now look for those in embryos from existing PGT-A data, with no new biopsy. Long-term, we're building the largest reproductive genomics biobank in the US, starting with 1,000 couples.
Most of you know this side of the field better than we do, and we'd love to work with you. We aim to make genetic workup for RPL and RIF affordable enough to order routinely. John and Christina come from MIT and Stanford and raised a $4.3M seed round led by CRV and BoxGroup.
