​Minwha Spirits is an Asian American-owned, grain-to-glass craft soju distillery whose story starts a generation ago in a small village on an island off the coast of South Korea. It was on that sleepy farmland that James' uncle made makgeolli in a makeshift brewery connected to the family home, honing his techniques and recipes over many years without modern tools or machinery — old world makgeolli in its truest form. They also recently earned Best in Class for Soju at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, so come try some for yourself!
