GLC Special Series: Sacred Slowdown Sessions
In partnership with the Asia Freedom Network, the Global Learning Community are offering a series of three online ‘Sacred Slowdown’ leader care sessions in 2026 — gentle, spacious gatherings to support leaders in the midst of meaningful, demanding work.
The Sacred Slowdown is a simple but powerful invitation to pause, create space, and return to a way of leading that is grounded, present and sustainable. At its heart is a quiet but countercultural idea: slow is the doorway to deep - deep wisdom, deep presence, and deeply aligned leadership. In environments that often move fast and ask much, these sessions offer a different rhythm, one that honours both the work and the person carrying it.
Each 60-minute call will create space to catch your breath, reflect, and reconnect with yourself and others in a supportive, lightly guided environment.
These sessions will be hosted by Age Rowse, a burnout prevention and leadership wellbeing coach whose work is grounded in lived experience and shaped by a deep commitment to helping leaders lead in ways that are sustainable, deeply human, and aligned with who they are.
We encourage you to find a comfy, quiet space for these sessions and to bring a journal/pen, cup of tea, etc.
You are welcome to come as you are — tired, full, uncertain, or steady. This is a space to slow down, reconnect, and be supported.
