About Event

The O-1 visa is one of the most coveted U.S. immigration paths, granted to individuals with “extraordinary ability” in fields like tech, arts, and science. But what does it really take to get one?

Join this Carry session with three standout builders who’ve done it — and are now helping others do the same. You’ll hear how they built careers in tech, navigated the O-1 process, and carved out space for themselves in the U.S. innovation ecosystem.

Meet Abril Zucci, a 21-year-old self-taught developer from Argentina who secured an O-1 visa without finishing high school or college. She broke into tech and crypto at 17, started her visa process in March 2024, and got approved by July. Now in the U.S., she’s sharing the full story.

Sigil Wen, a 20-year-old tech founder and investor who left the M&T program at UPenn to build full-time in Silicon Valley. He’s worked on products like Airchat, created Extraordinary to support other O-1 applicants, and worked under the mentorship of Naval Ravikant.

Kirill Avery began coding at age 10 and dropped out of middle school at 15 to pursue his passion. By 17, he moved to the U.S., and at 20, he started building Human. Known for trusting his gut over conventional advice, he’s carving an unconventional path in the tech world.

This is a live session. Bring your questions! Can't make it live? Sign up to get the replay.
