There is a particular pleasure in sitting down to dinner with strangers in a beautiful place, and rising from the table with new friends.
That is the spirit of The Bonding Table: one long table at the beach at Nômade, twenty seats, and travelers from near and far gathered for an evening of good food, good drinks and the kind of conversation that only happens on the road.
Mexican family style plates arrive at the center of the table, one after another, meant to be passed from hand to hand. Agave cocktails poured through the night. A DJ Set as the light goes down. Conversations that begin with a stranger and end with a friend, a plan for tomorrow, or a contact worth keeping long after the island.
To travel as a nomad has always meant staying open: to the places you arrive in, to the people who live there, to those crossing paths with you along the way. For one evening, the caravan stops here.
