Afterwork Networking (incl. Argentina and Georgia wine)

​Elowines Afterwork Networking is a relaxed networking evening in a historic 1932 wine store in Poblenou.

​After hosting 30+ events in Barcelona, our idea is simple: bring interesting & ambitious people together, pour rare wine, put some snacks on the table and actually have time to meet each other. It’s still networking & wine degustation, just without the formal setup - it's more like an evening where conversations happen naturally and you can leave having genuinely met a few new people.

​​This time we’ll be pouring 🇦🇷 Argentina & 🇬🇪 Georgia wine throughout the evening.

​Argentina and Georgia might not be the most obvious wine pairing - which is exactly why we wanted to put them together, for an evening made for red wine lovers.

​Georgia is often called the cradle of wine, with around 8,000 years of winemaking and a tradition of fermenting wine in clay qvevri buried underground. Its signature red grape, Saperavi, has red flesh as well as red skin and makes deep, inky wines. Argentina, meanwhile, is far more than Malbec: its high-altitude vineyards in Mendoza, some of the highest in the world, also produce bold Bonarda and elegant Cabernet Franc.

​This isn’t a formal tasting or a wine lecture. It’s an afterwork: come for a glass, compare two completely different wine cultures, discover something you probably wouldn’t normally order, and meet other curious, international people living in Barcelona.

The event starts from 19.00, but you can join any time later.
All tickets are non-refundable, but transferable to another person.
