Welcome to the Team1 Community Meetup – Austin
Introduction
Join us in Austin for an evening with the Avalanche community at Lazarus Brewing on Airport.
We’ll get together over a beer, meet new people, talk about what’s happening across Avalanche, and start building more local momentum in Austin. Whether you’re already building onchain, exploring Web3, or just curious about where you might fit in, this is a chance to meet others who are interested in the same space.
We’ll also share more about Team1, what it’s like to be involved, and how the current collaborator application round works.

Purpose of the Meetup
The goal is simple: bring the local Avalanche community together and create more opportunities for people to meet, learn, and build.
This gathering will help:
• Connect builders, founders, creators, students, and community members
• Introduce new people to Avalanche and Team1
• Walk through the current Team1 collaborator application process
• Create space for new ideas, local projects, and future events
Session Flow
6:00 PM – Doors Open
Arrive, grab a drink, and meet other people in the Austin Avalanche community.
6:30 PM – Welcome and Intros
A short welcome, quick intros, and a conversation around Team1, including its mission, what the experience is like, and how the current collaborator application process works.
7:00 PM – Networking
Open networking, drinks, and conversations with builders, creators, students, founders, and community members interested in Avalanche and Team1.

You can now apply to join Team1 as a collaborator and start contributing directly to Avalanche’s growth.
Collaborators who deliver value to the ecosystem may be invited to join Team1 as full members. Team1 supports people who want to lead from the ground up, whether that means hosting events, creating content, building projects, growing a region, supporting universities, or helping new people enter the ecosystem.
