​Introducing Louisiana.Invests

​There's real interest in investing in local startups across Louisiana — what's missing is a clear way to start.

​LA.Invests is a one-day, invitation-only session built to close that gap.

​Hosted by The Idea Village and EAP, alongside 3rd Coast Venture Summit and LA.io, this is for people who already have the standing to invest — successful or exited founders, physicians, energy-sector executives, attorneys, family-office principals — but haven't had a clear way in. No investing background required, just the capacity and the curiosity.

​Over the course of the day, attendees will:

• ​Meet the fund managers and group principals actually deploying capital in Louisiana right now

• ​Watch two real companies pitch, and sit in on the conversation about what makes a deal work

• ​Get introduced to the FUEL Investor Alliance, a live source of Louisiana deal flow

• ​Learn what it takes to start an investment group, join one, or bring a dormant one back to life

​Everyone leaves with a real map of where Louisiana's capital sits, a few new relationships, and a concrete next step if they want one.

​Free parking, breakfast, and lunch are included.

​This session is capped at 15 to 20 people to keep it small and useful. If someone in your world fits — someone who could write a check, sit on the right board, or help build the next investment group in this state — we'd love an introduction.
