The Carry Rucking Club: Laurelhurst Meetup
The Carry Rucking Club: Laurelhurst, Seattle Meetup
Friday, Feb 27, 2026
12:00 PM - 1:30 PM
Meet @ Laurelhurst Park in front of Community Center
Join us for our first Seattle lunchtime ruck with The Carry Rucking Club—a guided walk designed to help women move their bodies, get out in nature, build strength and connect IRL.
We’ll meet at 12:00 PM at Laurelhurst Park and depart by 12:10 PM for a 50-minute brisk walk (~2.5 miles) through the hills of Laurelhurst—one of our favorite neighbs near HQ for a good sweat. Expect Zone 2–3 effort most of the time, with spicy Zone 4 pushes when we hit stairs or hills. We’ll finish back at the park with a 10-minute strength snack (quick full-body circuit, good burn guaranteed).
Weighted vests are welcome but not required—come as you are. The first five attendees can borrow and try The Carry Weighted Vest during the meetup.
What to expect:
Guided group walk/ruck
Strength circuit to finish
Hills and terrain-based intervals
Conversation + community
Fresh air and a solid midday reset
A group photo + captures and tags by all encouraged
What to bring:
Comfortable walking shoes
A weighted vest if you have
Water if you'll need during or after
The Carry Weighted Vest officially launches this spring. Preorders are open in limited quantities.
This meetup kicks off a year of events under The Carry Rucking Club events across Seattle and beyond—designed to make movement fun and approachable, while making you stronger.
About The Carry
The Carry is the first premium rucking brand built specifically for women. We couldn’t find a vest we loved, so we made one: comfortable, adjustable in weight, washable, functional, and designed to look as good as it performs. We're on a mission to help women age powerfully—one weighted step at a time.
Preorder The Carry Weighted Vest—limited quantities in this first production run. Ships this spring.
About The Carry Rucking Club
The Carry Rucking Club is a growing community of women who walk, ruck, build strength together in real life. Our meetups are about movement, connection, and confidence—not pace or perfection. We believe in showing up, supporting one another, and doing physically hard things together.
Come move with us. And check out our merch!
